Jay T. Jones, M.D., joined FWRadiology in 2014. Originally from Louisville, Ky., he earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kentucky. After college he served as an officer in the U.S. Navy for 13 years, then attended the University of Louisville School of Medicine, graduating magna cum laude. He completed an internship in internal medicine at the University of Louisville Hospital and a diagnostic radiology residency at Indiana University Hospital in Indianapolis.

Dr. Jones served as a staff radiologist and Radiology Medical Director and Academic Chairman at the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, Va. After returning with his family to Indiana, he was a diagnostic radiologist at Columbus Regional Hospital and Radiology Department Medical Director for six years.

He is board certified by and a Diplomat of the American Board of Radiology. He is a member of the American College of Radiology, Radiology Society of North America and a senior member of the Society of Thoracic Radiology. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife and four sons, bicycling and boating.
